Education to Action is a unique program in that you, the intern, direct the work. From Tomorrow provides mentoring, helping to ensure your success. You will be on the front lines of working with citizens and governments, plus understanding how to scope and complete a real world project. A Form Tomorrow internship gives you a chance to test what you can do and learn about navigating the work environment within a positive and supportive work environment. The internship is intended to begin bridging the gap between academic and professional careers.
This summer promises to be a very exciting summer. The first project is a continuation of a project started last summer, building support for flood plain preservation along along 50 miles of the Virgin River. The second is a sensitive lands mapping project for the town of Ivins, helping the town visualize the impact ordinances have on the town.
The internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students, it is available for academic credit, and students from all design disciplines are encouraged to apply. Accommodations are provided in several small communities near to Zion National Park which is an area with unparalleled hiking and recreational opportunities. More information about the projects can be found in the Newsletters and application details can be found in the knowledge base under applications.
It’s shaping up to be a fantastic summer. To quote The Price is Right, “Come on down!”
